Best terminal location (proposed)

The J. Douglas Galyon Depot district downtown. The Galyon Depot is already the Triad's Amtrak hub, with downtown Greensboro's office and university demand within walking distance. The corridor east toward High Point follows one of the busiest existing passenger-rail segments in North Carolina, simplifying guideway alignment.
