Best terminal location (proposed)
The Transportation Center at Bland Boulevard near the airport. Newport News's Transportation Center already co-locates Amtrak and city buses next to the airport, making it the Peninsula's natural intermodal hub. The terminal would serve the shipyard's massive workforce and capture the I-64 corridor toward Hampton.
