Best terminal location (proposed)
The downtown Illinois River riverfront district. Peoria's downtown riverfront mixes the civic center, museums, and the former Rock Island depot approaches within a compact core. The riverfront redevelopment already proved the district can draw regional visitors, and the Caterpillar and healthcare employers anchor the catchment.
