Best terminal location (proposed)

The Amtrak station corridor on the city's west side. Tallahassee's Amtrak station sits on an active freight corridor west of downtown, with surrounding land far cheaper than the urban core. The terminal would serve the state capital's government workforce and FSU/FAMU's tens of thousands of students, anchoring the long Panhandle corridor toward Gainesville.
