Best terminal location (proposed)
the Victorville station district near the planned Brightline West site. Brightline West has already selected Victorville for its Las Vegas high-speed rail station, which would make this a rare two-system transfer point. The I-15 corridor through the city is wide-open desert-fringe land. It captures the entire High Desert population plus Vegas-bound travelers.
Before / after

Aerial mock-up (illustrative, not an engineering rendering). Left: the proposed site today. Right: with the maglev terminal.
- Cajon Junction — unincorporated community at the top of the Cajon Pass, the corridor's pinch point.
- Devore — small community in the pass along I-15.
- Muscoy — unincorporated community at the corridor's south foot approaching San Bernardino.
